Howl, is next on my “to watch” list. It’s about the beat generation and, more specifically, Allen Ginsberg’s poem Howl and how it was considered to be obscene at the time. The movie chronicles the 1957 obscenity trial. I got that all from Wikipedia.
Also, I hear there is some gay romance. The movie was recommended to me by Netflix under a category that apparently matches my tastes. The category was titled (I kid you not) “Raunchy Gay & Lesbian Movies”. I’m all about gay and lesbian movies, but I was just surprised to see that they included the word raunchy in there…
I would love to watch it tonight, but must get some rest for I have another long day tomorrow starting with an early-ish morning. (Hey! 6 am is generally considered early for me!)
And I leave you there. Good night!
